EXOXEN has spent at least 15 years as a tape project among a small group of friends, and is making its first international debut here. A large number of instruments and an armada of analogue and digital effects were deployed in this compelling textural assault.

What more can I say? Listening is believing. But if pressed for a comparison, I’d say place them on a spectrum somewhere between Helios Creed and Throbbing Gristle. Get this album and spend some time with it. It’s destined to become a cult favorite.
